Shiloh Cabinetry Olde World
The Olde World finish collection replicates the look of significantly worn, painted cabinetry. These finishes feature worm holing, edge and panel gouging, glazing, wearing, dry brush glazing, rock dents, paint crackle, water spotting and a brown undertone. All parts of the cabinetry will receive some or all of the techniques applied. Due to the number of processes and hand-applied techniques, slight variation in samples and kitchens is possible. The following Olde World finishes are available on maple, alder, cherry, hickory or oak. All samples shown are maple.

Olde World Finish Techniques are hand applied, and the level of each technique will vary from piece to piece and should be expected. Doors, frames, moulding, finished ends and miscellaneous items will have various forms of these finish techniques. Olde World is available on maple, alder, cherry, oak, and hickory Wood species (Not Available with Thermafoil). Not available with Metropolitan Door Style.
Paint : Painted Finishes can show evidence of slight crack lines at joints In doors, frames, and at glue joints in panels. Due to natural expansion and contraction of wood (Especially evident with Inset Cabinetry). Door panels will shrink, exposing unfinished areas of wood, if proper humidification is not maintained in storage and after permanent installation. Areas of end grains on edges and panel cuts may exhibit voids in wood which appear as rough spots in wood. We consider these imperfections normal for solid wood products and will not be considered as cause for replacement. Metro Doors with Painted Finishes will be Solid MDF.
